Pulling Lobster Traps

Pulling lobster traps is fun, as long as you don’t mind getting dirty.  We have our recreational lobster licenses which permit any Mainer who passes a written test to put out 5 traps.  We hand-line the traps into the boat.  We like to let clients become as involved with the process as they like.  You never know what you might catch in the traps besides lobsters.  For many kids, seeing what’s inside the trap as it comes over the rail is their favorite memory about coming to Boothbay Harbor.
