Dan Wolotsky has been fishing in the Boothbay region and Kennebec River system since he was just nine years old. He lives to fish and, with or without clients, you will find him out on the water. Dan loves fishing at dawn and dusk, stretching out the possible hours of fishing time. When the guiding season ends, he is a teacher librarian in South Portland, Maine.

Captain Wolotsky is the perfect choice for both beginners and experts. Beginner
anglers will delight in how easy he makes the learning process and how quickly
they get results. Experts will enjoy the consistent fishery and the methods Dan
employs. All anglers will enjoy his easy going demeanor, sense of humor, and
above all his work ethic. Dan cares deeply that all clients have the highpoint
of their vacation on his boat and will work hard to accomplish this goal.
Captain Wolotsky is active in the conservation effort as a member of Stripers Forever and the Coastal Conservation Association. He also serves on the board of the Maine Association of Charter Boat Captains. While Dan encourages his clients to catch and release, he will happily filet fish for clients within the slot limits set forth by the state of Maine.
